| Moving with
his wife and family from urban Philadelphia to Maine in the
late sixties gave Ed’s photographic career a new direction.
Leaving behind annual reports and industrial clients, he became
absorbed by the beauty of Maine and Acadia National Park.
His interest in birds became a passion, and you will often
find him, camera in hand, seated patiently in a blind, or
following seasonal migrations, or just hiking off the beaten
path to find a species to study and photograph.
